However, food can not be forgotten, and we invite you to try these new recipes – with Avocados from Mexico flair – that are “to die for.”
Aztec soup, also known as tortilla soup, is a delicious traditional Mexican dish that will make anyone feel right at home. Cooking it is very simple: prepare a tomato stock (you can make it as spicy as you want), cut strips of tortillas and fry them. To serve, spoon into a bowlwith cream, fresh cheese, fried pasilla pepper, and pork rinds and top with fired tortilla strips and cubed Avocados from Mexico.
Avocado and Tuna-Stuffed Peppers
There are many ways to prepare stuffed peppers. The most popular way is to batter and fry them, but we can enjoy this dish in a much healthier way by making avocado and tuna-stuffed peppers with no batter and no remorse, since avocados have good fats and tuna contributes protein.
First, roast the peppers and remove the skin. Core and de-seed the roasted peppers and stuff with tuna mix, avocado, onions, and minced tomatoes. Coat with tomato sauce and serve.
Chipotle Chicken with Avocado
Thissalsa made with tomatoes, chipotle peppers, and avocados is creamy and spicy at the same time. Blend a tomato and chipotle pepper with 1/4 of an onion, a pinch of oregano. To give it some extra taste and texture, add cubed avocado and serve with grilled chicken.
Avocado custard is as delicious as its main ingredient. Heat up one cup of pineapple juice and add a packageof gelatin. In a blender, mix 2 cups of chilled yogurt, 2 medium Avocados from Mexico, and 4 tablespoons of sugar until smooth. Add the gelatin mixture and pour into a mold tolet it sit for 2 to 3 hours. Remove from the mold very carefully and decorate before serving.
