March 30th celebrates National Walk in the Park Day. A short stroll helps to distract your mind and energize you. Exercising regularly helps to prevent and control some conditions, strengthen muscles, and improve your mood. This day is an excellent opportunity to invite friends and family to take part in this physical activity and enjoy a picnic that includes simple, nutritious meals made with Avocados From Mexico.
Here, we present you with some ideas for what you can include in your basket.
2 slices of toasted bread (preferably wheat);1 AvocadoFrom Mexico; 1/2tFurikake (Japanese mix of dry condiments); 1t Srirachasauce.
Remove the pulp from the avocado and cut it into thin slices. Place 3 or 4 slices of avocado on a piece of toast and sprinkle it with a little bit of Furikake. Finally, add the Sriracha sauce in a zig-zag pattern.
1 Avocado From Mexico; 1/2lb shrimp; 2T olive oil; 1/2t finely chopped garlic; 1/4t chipotle chili powder; 1/2t cumin; 1/2c sour cream; 1t chopped jalapeño; Juice of1 lemon; 1 baguette; 2c chopped lettuce; Salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, chipotle powder and olive oil in a bowl. Add clean shrimp and mix well. Mash the avocado in another bowl and add the sour cream, jalapeño, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth.
In a pan, cook the previously seasoned shrimp until they are pink (approximately 5 minutes). Spread the avocado mixture on the baguette. Add the lettuce and shrimp and your sandwiches are ready. You can make the shrimp and spread the night before and take them in a container so you only have to add the bread.
